1️⃣ Segment Your List

  • VIPs: Early access, exclusive bundles

  • Mobile-engaged users: Quick, urgent SMS alerts

  • Dormant or low-engagement segments: Skip early SMS—don’t annoy them

2️⃣ Check Deliverability

 Even the best emails fail if they don’t land:

  • SPF, DKIM & DMARC are correct

  • Sender reputation is clean
    Engagement-based segments are prioritized

3️⃣ Perfect Your SMS

  • Under 160 characters

  • Lead with the offer

  • Clear, clickable link

Example:
“🎁 Black Friday Early Access! 30% off sitewide today only. Shop now: [link]”

4️⃣ Review Email Content

  • CTA above the fold

  • Highlight urgency & scarcity

  • Visuals and product bundles ready

  • Subject lines personalized for VIPs and top-engagement users

5️⃣ Confirm Timing

  • SMS: 6–8 AM local time for instant action

  • Email: 8–10 AM for people who want more context

  • Stagger sends to avoid overwhelming your audience

6️⃣ Test Everything One Last Time

  • Subject lines

  • Links & buttons

  • Mobile responsiveness

 A small glitch tomorrow morning can cost thousands.

Double-Check Your Black Friday Campaigns

Your customers respond to timely, relevant messages, not a flood of notifications.

Instead of sending the same email or SMS to everyone, tailor each message based on behavior, past purchases, and engagement level.
